- The IOTA tangle is an innovative kind of distributed ledger technology (DLT) that is designed for the Internet of Things (IoT) environment. It is based on a new type of DLT which is different from the traditional blockchain model. This Tangle is designed to allow micro-transactions for the ecosystem of IoT devices without any fees.
- Adopting this technology is challenging due to a lack of knowledge and understanding amongst people. However, IOTA has taken steps to address this issue by launching an awareness program backed by the UN General Assembly. Marianna, a member of the IOTA team, stated that their objective is to reach out to Blockchain projects within the development sector and assist them in resolving the problems that they currently face. By doing so, they hope to enable these projects to create a greater impact in a more efficient manner.
