The new Samsung Galaxy Four watch can change into a walk-talkie giving you a way to chat with your friends without making a call. The feature is way too similar to iPhone 4.

Samsung has unveiled its new walkie-talkie app for Galaxy Watch 4 and Watch 4 Classic, which enables the users to have push-to-talk conversations with another person using the wearable reported by Verge. The app’s development was first rumored in May before the watch’s official announcement. This app is available on Google Play Store for users to download.

Well, this app is classy and quite useful but it can limit the number of friends you can have chat with. As they also need to own the latest Galaxy Watch to enter into a chat. The Google play store description of the app is “two or more users” can have conversations. This means that you may be able to use the app outside of secret one-on-one conversions. But the people you want to have chat with should have a Samsung Watch 4.

Moreover, the app is similar to Apple Watch but is more advanced and developed as it allows group chats rather than only allowing two people to have a conversation.

Whilst Apple which released its similar app in 2018 only allowed two users to communicate.

For using this feature, you need to log into your Samsung account on a phone connected to your watch. By enabling this feature you will be able to create channels for your conversation. So, connect with the nearby friends watch, and have chat by pressing the mic button in the center of the screen. You’ll also be able to turn the feature off at any time you do not feel like chatting.
