Belgium healthcare Big data startup LynxCare gathers €20M to boost the clinical insights for doctors.
LynxCare a platform that enables hospitals to unlock siloed, legacy data to extract insights gathers funding of €20M . The Series A investment was led by Swiss health tech investor MTIP with Elaia. Also, including the company’s early stage investors which are Heran Partners, BTOV and PMV.
Indubitably, healthcare is undergoing major digital transformation. Especially with the increase of the healthcare mobile app and web development consequently opening gateway for ever-increasing quantity of data which can be used in treating patients better.
But as per stats 90% of this data goes unconsumed. However, the appropriate processing of this data can provide insights which can help derive useful clinical insights. So to assist hospitals towards value based care, LynxCare AI platform aims to provide benefits to patients, physicians, care staff and the hospitals as a whole.
Founded in 2015 by Dries Hens and Georges De Feu, the platform is helping hospitals to unlock data to gain insights in the real world performance of treatments and compile clinical insights for doctors. The company utilizes AI and Natural Language Processing (NLP) to improve patient outcomes.
Furthermore, the healthcare Big data startup has also entered into partnership with PSIH Group which is the market leader in clinical business intelligence located in France. Via this deal Lynxcare can offer its services to 66% of the French hospital groups.
