Health AI Start-Up Endimension Raises $300,000 In Seed Funding

Indian Health AI startup Endimension has bagged $300,000 in seed funding from Inflection Point Ventures.

The health AI startup from India, Endimension has raised $ 300,000 in seed funding for further expanding its services in the field of radiology. Mobi health news reported.

The startup has developed an AI support tool that detects COVID-19 patterns from chest images. 

The startup was founded in  2018 at the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay. Now the startup has raised money from Inflection Point Ventures. The startup develops AI algorithms to automatically identify abnormalities and diseases from medical scans. The AI platform called ENDI-AI-CXR provides a clinical support tool that detects COVID-19 patterns from the chest radiographs reducing the chance of misdiagnosis thus increasing the radiologists’ efficiency.

According to the startup, the seed funding will be used to hire new talent furthermore for research and boosting sales. AI no doubt has countless applications in the field of healthcare. From discovering links between genetic codes to powering surgical robots AI has simplified the lives of patients, doctors, and hospital administrators. Because of all these applications and much more the global AI market in medical diagnostics is forecasted to reach $3.9 billion by 2025 the research firm MarketsandMarkets reported.

The motive of the startup is to make the process of medical diagnostics and detection efficient with the help of Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence. The team of the startup also consists of expert machine learning researchers and software engineers.
