For Expanding Its Restaurant Management Platform Last.App Nets €2.2 Million Funding
Founded in 2019, a restaurant management platform, Last.app for its software has landed funding of €2.2 Million.
The global hotel and hospitality management software market is forecasted to grow by USD 1.14 billion at a CAGR of about 5% during 2020-2024. The revitalization of the travel and tourism industry especially after the covid has opened avenues for the inculcation of new technologies such as travel and tourism mobile apps, software, and websites. The ease and convenience provided by technological solutions are the main reasons that investors are diverting their investments towards travel and tourism startups. As recently, the Last.app has closed €2.2 million funding for its software that is simplifying the day-to-day operations and management of restaurants.
The funding round was led by All Iron Ventures, with support from Portuguese ventures capital fund Bynd and prime level Spanish business angels. The startup was founded in Barcelona by former Glovo employees, it develops market software that makes it easier to manage a hospitality business for restaurants, restaurant chains, dark kitchens, and so on. Last.app is not the first one to fetch funding in this niche. Recently this year another startup Spectaflow gathered 1.7million euros for its travel and tourism Saas startup.
Last. app is the leader in the management ecosystem for restaurants and hotels with its technology solutions that are able to adapt to the ever-transforming reality of the sector. It has multi-platform capabilities, its POS, online shop, and delivery integrator. The young startup wants to accelerate the role of technology in the tourism industry, changing the ways restaurants automate processes.
It provides restaurants of all sizes with a flexible solution that enables the restaurants and hotels to be agile.
The startup was founded by Ivan Nikolic Fraguela and Eric Nikolic. And this fresh injection of funds will help the restaurant management platform to expand its software to the international market. The startup also aims to hire a new team in the marketing and sales area.
